And I have lots of pictures to prove it!
Here are the specs again:
Yarn: Jitterbug by Colinette in Mardi Gras
Needles: 3mm Addi Turbos (magic looped)
Pattern: Garter Rib on the ankle from Sensational Knitted Socks, and plain stockinette foot.
Number of stitches cast on: 48
The verdict: I really like 'em. I actually might knit with this yarn again, since while the yardage looks like it sucks, I actually have quite a bit of yarn left over. I think I could have made the ankles 2-3 inches longer than I did.

Thanks for your comment - cute socks! I just bought a skein of Jitterbug too, and didn't notice the yardage until after I got it home. Good to know you can get a decent pair of socks out of it anyway.
Great job jitterbugging with the garter rib!
I like them; they are kinda sassy!
Those are so cute!!! I've been seeing that yarn around quite a bit on blogs lately.
Those are great socks Chrissy! They actually look excellent as ankle socks. The colour is excellent - nice job!
I Love the photos! Way to make the socks come to life!
Hi Chrissy, Thanks for the comment on my blog. Your Jitterbugs look great. And now I'm thinking about making a pair o' Monkeys too!
Great job on the socks! I've been trying to decide whether or not to try the Jitterbug, and now I think I will!
Nice Sockage!
