Fun With Fabric...

Look what I got on Sunday---

Five different happy patterned fabrics, and some very pretty ribbon.

My plan for these funky fabrics went really well. This is a similar bag to one I got in a swap about a year ago. I just guessed about how to do it, and I think it turned out really well.

So far I've done a couple of blue ones.

Now, for those who have read this far, you could win one of my little sock in progress holder bags if you tell me why you want it.

How much easier could it be?

So, to win one of these lovelies --- Please leave a comment about why you'd like one.

Those are really cute!

I could really use a bag like that because it would be good motivation/reward for getting all my term papers finished so I could get back to sock knitting - I mean, who could resist picking up their sock project if they kept it in a cute little bag like that?

Those are really cute! Great job! I've made these too and with some slight adjustments, have made a couple in hand grip holders for gymnastics for my daughter.

It looks to be the right size and very practical. Lovely fabric as well! - And I've always socks in progress, now even double, since my daughter started knitting socks too. Oh, that's an idea, it would be a lovely gift for her! ;o)

What a great bag - and I just love all of the fabrics you chose. I've been itching to get some sewing done too. :)

I'm going to refrain from entering this contest since I won a prize in the last one. It's only fair to give someone else a chance. Good luck to all!!!

It is lovely and would nicely hold a ball of yarn that wants to go away while you knit it ...

Umm, because I made one for you and it would be lovely to have someone make one for me? LOL!! I love, love, love these little project bags and would happily add another one to my knitty home. :)

Adorable bag! I'd love to be entered in the contest if it's not too late. I'd love a bag like that for carrying around my sock in progress. It's the perfect size, unlike the huge messanger bag I usually use as a knitting bag!

Those are great bags! I'd love to have one to put the sock stuff I just got from the Second Sock Syndrome Swap. My pal sent me a monkey sock to knit the mate for out of Jitterbug. Is that a weird coincidence or what? And the other weird coincidence? She was my spoilee in the last secret pal. It's a very small world. ; )

Very cute bag! If I had that bag, I would give it to my friend who is having a birthday and she always has her socks in a ziplock bag. Of course, I would want to keep it for myself but don't we all have that side of us??

I am the caregiver for my mom with Alzheimers, I take my Mother in law to Dialysis once a week, I work as a teacher, and I knit for my sanity! I read your blog all the time as well as a few others to help with my stress level. It would be so great to have one of your bags because I would know it came from you! I could put my sock in progress in there to take to Dialysis.......

Why would I like one? Well, they are super cute... but everyone thinks that. I want one because I am a knitter on the move and an adorable bag would help. From my classroom waiting for the student's rides to arrive, off to Tae Kwon Do with my son, week-end taking the math team to a meet, visits to the in-laws, you get the picture... and I promise to love it!

Adorable bags! I would love to have one of those little bags because I'm always looking for something to carry my socks around and all I have is a messanger bag! Which looks funny against some of my delicate dresses.

They are gorgeous, much better than an old carrier bag!
