Remember, When Your Bag of Yarn Is So Heavy It Hurts Your Fingers...

...Life is good. Before I finish weaving in the ends of the Shetland Triangle, I wanted to share the fruits of my secret yarn mission. Now that I have had a chance to scope out the selection, it's safe to tell you that Three Bags Full in Vancouver has just received their last shipment of Sweet Georgia yarn.

They had a ton, but it's going quickly. I really helped out with that.

I picked up four hanks of lace weight to fuel my lace addiction. I'm hoping to use at least one to knit a yet-to-be-determined pattern from Victorian Lace Today. I totally forgot to mention that I picked up this book a week or so ago.

Left to right: Honey Fig, Blue Steel, Dragon, Cassis.

I also managed to pick up 12 hanks (enough for 6 pairs) of Superwash Sock.

Left to right: River, Sakura, Rainforest

Left to right: Blue Fig, Midnight Rain, Olivia.

These colors are far more vivid in real life than in pictures (especially on this dark and rainy day.

Ooh, nice haul. I didn't realize there won't be any more Sweet Georgia.

They did have the blue! I went there after seeing the blue lace-weight here and they told me that they never had any. I felt silly arguing "the internet told me so" to someone who seemed like a manager. Now I feel better, knowing I wasn't crazy.

So you were the one who bought all the good colours. I got to 3bf just after lunch the day after they emailed me and some of the sock yarn was already sold out.
