Finished Faux Rozas...

Well, they're finally finished. For the record, I call them Faux Rozas because they're actually just a 3x3 rib, but you can't tell because the yarn is so colorful. This yarn was a dream to work with from beginning to end. I can't sing the praises of STR enough.

Specs:

Pattern: Based on Roza's Socks from Spring 2007 Interweave Knits Magazine (plain 3x3 rib, as mentioned earlier).

Yarn: Socks That Rock in Fire On The Mountain gifted to me by Friender in the Knitter's Treat Exchange.

Needles: 2.5mm Crystal Palace Bamboo dpns.

I have to remember that ribbing bores me to tears. The first sock was great. The second was painful.

Oooh pretty! And I like the touch of the ball band in the first photo. I could see that being a nice touch for a finished gift.

Wow! Those look great! I have a coveted skein of the Fire on the Mountain in my stash and was wondering how it would knit up! I know what you mean about ribbing...snoring! But it sure worked well on those socks!

They look wonderful! Rib is pretty boring, isn't it? It makes a nice sock, just not interesting to knit. (That's why I have a pair that I started for step FIL for last years Father's Day and only ever made one -- drab grey rib! Maybe I'll get on the ball and finish the other one for this year. Better late than never!)

Wow, they're gorgeous! I never took a second look at Fire ont he Mountain when "window shopping" at BMFA, now I have to. And I have to find my IK issue with the Roza socks. It's been MIA almost since I got it. Thanks for the inspiration.

WOW! Those look beautiful!
Ribbing is very boring but it helps so much with the pooling and flashing of hand dyed yarns.
