Meeting Goals...

I set myself a goal of finishing this pair of socks before the end of the month, but it was evident by early this morning that I would be able to finish them by the end of the weekend.

Without further ado---
I haven't written up the pattern yet, and they still don't have a name, but they're done.

I'm really pleased with how they turned out. The cable extends part way down the foot, then the rest of the foot is the same as the cuff.

My favorite unique detail is that the cable extends all the way down the heel flap.

I hope my Sockapalooza pal likes them. She has bigger feet than I do, so they look a bit baggy on me.

Does anyone have any name suggestions? I'm horrible at naming. I'm hoping to have the pattern written up and PDF'd by the end of the week.

Umm name suggestions. . .

I hope you write up the pattern soon! =) <3

Those are GREAT! What a beautiful design you came up with. What about "twist and turn"? I suck at naming stuff.

Wow, those are beautiful!! You did a great job writing the pattern. Is there a way to work you sock pals name or her blog name into the pattern title? Of course, you won't be able to reveal it to us until your pal knows who you are!! :)

They look so great! What a fantastic design you came up with. I keep thinking of the ocean when I see the pattern, so how about Ocean Waves, Tides, Ebb and Flow, or Mermaid? None of these names seems adequate. Naming is harder than you think it would be!

Very nice! I'm interested in the pattern!

Lucky sock pal!! Hope it's me!..well the odds are it's not, but oh well! :)

I will look forward to the pattern! They're very nice. I was thinking the pattern looked like over-lapping petals, so the suggestion of Falling Blossoms from KnittingHawke or Falling Roses are good suggestions.

Oh,your socks turned out so well! I was thinking that the cables looked like waves streaming back from the shore (the ribbing). So how about "where the waves meet the shore" or "crashing waves" or something along that line. Ok, I'm not very good at naming sock patterns!

Original pattern + beautiful yarn = Sockapalooza winners!

Most fortunate pal, methinks.
