Changes...

I've popped in to inform you of some changes that will be going on, but I don't have any pics to represent them, so I'll make it quick!

  • I am going back to school to do a post degree program in Human Resources Management.
  • The program starts in September 2008
  • I'm beginning the qualifying courses in three weeks.
  • I let my boss know today that I'll need to work part time. It's not looking all that promising though.
  • I'm not looking forward to tomorrow when everyone finds out. They will be pissed. No, really.
I joined the West Coast Knitter's Guild on Tuesday night. Everyone is super nice and welcoming, and it's really a great group.

The group is doing a knit out in Stanley Park this Saturday! I'm totally jazzed!

Oh, and I designed a new type of toe up heel. I'm hoping to get pics and instructions written tomorrow night. This week has been insanely busy!

Hang in there, it's almost Friday!

I have a friend who just finished her HR program a year ago and is working in HR now. If you have any questions, I'm sure she'd be happy to spill. She went to BCIT.

I still think you should just start up a yarn store in Marpole.

I think that's great! If you're looking for part time work, check out http://www.bcplacestadium.com/employment.shtml

If you scroll down to the bottom, we're hiring for Exhibitor Services as well.

This may be too part time for you but just in case you're interested...

You will definitely enjoy the course as HR is an interesting area. I worked in HR for 25 years before I "retire". Good luck!
