Saturday came and went too quickly. Stu very nicely took my car in to get an alignment (he even paid! Thank you awesome hubby!). I am happy to report that my car can now be driven using one hand. Other than that, we did a bit of shopping, and spent the rest of the day watching the last few episodes of the first season of the Sopranos and then Hostel 2.
Sunday was spent cleaning. My fall clean is almost done, and the apartment is looking great. Well...better anyway. I found that I actually have 3 bins full of yarn, not 2.5 like I had said before. I forgot to count the yarn in the cupboards. My goal still stands at reducing to 1 bin by the end of the year.I found some really yummy tea. It's Genmai Green Tea, made by Stash Teas. It's the stuff with green tea and brown rice in it. It tastes like the loose stuff, but it's in bags. I've used up 4 bags since yesterday morning.
I don't think I mentioned this before, but I'm working on the Back To School U-Neck Vest from Fitted Knits. It's flying along.I'm using Cascade 220 in a very pretty periwinkle color. I am almost at the point where the front and back are separated. Also, this is my first time making bust darts, and I think they will make this fit way better.
And how cute is that waffle stitch!?!

So glad you said that - I was looking at the stitch thinking "wow, I like that I'll have to ask what it is!"; not that clarifying "waffle stitch" means I know how it's done but I like it too!
I love the dish cloth patterns. Are there links to them? I was cleaning out my yarn and realized I had a lot of dish cloth yarn and really actually needed some new dish cloths.
That book looks great and I really like the afghan on the front, maybe in different colors, though.
