My So Called Scarf...

I may not seem to blog all that frequently right now, but everything will be settling down soon. I started my new job almost 2 weeks ago now, and it is going very well; however, there is a ton to do, and a ton to learn, which makes me want to avoid any typing when I get home.

I'm really enjoying my work days ending at 4pm now.

Unfortunately, I've managed to come down with the bad cold that's going around, so I wasn't there today. I'm hoping my day of rest will make me feel a lot better by tomorrow.

Don't worry. I've been knitting during every free moment I've had. I'm about 10 rows away from being finished My So Called Scarf, and it'll be done by the end of the evening tonight.

Have I mentioned lately that I love Malabrigo? I feel like I can't stop knitting with it. I also found a great place to take pictures in the apartment. Our new pale blue sheets provide just enough reflected light when it's sunny outside (this is the first sun we've seen around here in a while).

Here are the scarf specs -

Pattern: My So Called Scarf

Needles: 8mm Clover 10" Straights

Yarn: Malabrigo Worsted in Azul Profundo

Don't think I've forgotten that it's Socktober! The reason I've been trying to get the scarf done quickly is so I can devote the weekend to sock knitting. Stay tuned to see which sock I'll be working on.

Have a great Friday!!

The scarf is beautiful. I'm also doing a scarf with Malabrigo - and it really is so nice to work with.

The scarf looks great & the color is gorgeous. I knitted the same pattern before & it's a really nice knit but I had to give it away.
