I finally finished sock number two, and it turned out really well. It took me less time than the first one, but it seemed like longer. I don't know why. The picture makes the socks look like they're two different sizes, but they're not (I swear!!). My left index finger now has a huge callous, and it looks pretty gnarled. I'm feeling pretty good, since my deadline for these socks was December, and it's only the end of September, so I have lots of time for my other Christmas gift projects.
